Is Adele preparing a new full-length, "25," to be released later this year? The British superstar posted what could very well be taken as a new album teaser on Twitter on Sunday (May 4).

"Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year x," Adele wrote, posting a photo of herself giving a thumbs-up sign in bed. "Bye bye 25" refers to the singer's 26th birthday on Monday (May 5).
So how exactly could that be an album tease? Well, Adele's first album, "19," was written and released when the singer was 19 years old in January 2008, and its follow-up, "21," captures her life as a 21-year-old, and was released a few months after she turned 22, in January 2011. If Adele will be revisiting the age of 25 "later in the year," perhaps it will be in the form of the most anticipated album release of the year.
A rep for Adele declined request for comment.
"21" won the Grammy award for album of the year, and spawned blockbuster singles like "Rolling In The Deep," "Someone Like You" and "Set Fire To the Rain." Since winning an Academy Award for "Skyfall" in early 2013, Adele has largely remained out of the public eye.
