Jewish MCs, spoiled princesses and elderly dancers make up the World's Worst Birthday Party Entertainers.
Katy Perry has gone full-on Goofball for the music video for her new "PRISM" single "Birthday," donning five wacky costumes, invading various birthday parties in disguise and aiming for maximum hijinks. Watch the eight-minute prank-a-thon below:
Among Perry's alter egos are Ace the Animal Trainer, who swallows a live mouse in front of children; Yosef Shulem The MC, a mustachioed entertaining willing to perform the worm at a Bar Mitzvah; Goldie The Dancer, an elderly temptress who delights a retirement community; and Kriss The Clown, who wanders off and almost gets hit by a truck after guzzling from a flask. It's all in good fun, and when Princess Mandee takes off her wig and is revealed to be Katy Perry, her audience of tiny children squeals with profound delight.
On this week's Hot 100 chart, "Birthday" jumps eight spots to No. 83 after making its debut last week. Perry's latest "PRISM" cut is trying to duplicate the success of the album's previous singles "Roar" and "Dark Horse," which both climbed to the top of the Hot 100.
