Jimmy Fallon, Idina Menzel Rework 'Let It Go' Using Classroom Instruments: Watch

Idina Menzel has had a whirlwind 24 hours.

After the Frozen showstopper "Let It Go" won the Academy Award for original song Sunday, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots recruited Menzel for the latest performance using classroom instruments on Monday's Tonight Show.

Who knew wooden letter blocks, a xylophone, a triangle and other instruments more commonly found in a kindergarten classroom -- not to mention a electric mini-keyboard -- could bring the Frozen ballad to life?

In a recent "Ask The Roots" video, Tariq (aka Black Thought) revealed that the they figure out the arrangement "in an instant." "That's what keeps it fresh," he says. Interestingly, where people are placed in the shot usually dictates what kinds of instruments they will play for that particular performance.
