The live run will reportedly include dates in Europe and North America.
In July, Robyn conjured frowns across the globe by announcing that she was "nowhere near finished" with the follow-up album to 2010's acclaimed "Body Talk" opus. However, the Swedish pop singer is closing out the year on a promising note -- she just cryptically announced that she and Norwegian production duo Röyksopp are "making music again," and will tour together next year.
The announcement comes courtesy of an Instagram photo Robyn shared on Monday (Dec. 9), which shows the female singer taking a selfie in front of Röyksopp's Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland. "We are making music again. #royksopprobyn" reads the heart-fluttering caption.
Furthermore, Pitchfork reports that the longtime collaborators have announced the 'Röyksopp and Robyn Do It Again Tour' for next year. Although no dates have been announced for the trek, the run will apparently include shows in Europe and North America.
Robyn's three-part "Body Talk" series, which included the breakout single "Dancing on My Own," has sold a combined 170,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. Robyn contributed vocals to the Röyksopp single "The Girl and the Robot," from the duo's 2009 album "Junior"; watch the music video below:
