Ariana Grande, Big Sean Masquerade in 'Right There' Video: Watch
Ariana Grande is moving on to the third single from her No. 1 debut album "Yours Truly," and for the music video for her Big Sean collaboration "Right There," the 20-year-old hosts a modern-day masquerade ball, complete with flowing gowns, wacky masks and Shakespearean nods.
Consider the "Right There" clip, directed by the Young Astronauts, Grande's well-timed, understated tribute to Halloween: flanked by partygoers in various costumes, the Nickelodeon star gets to assume the role of Juliet for the evening, gazing down at her Romeo (played by Patrick Schwarzenegger here). In between shots of Grande dramatically flapping a fancy fan in her face, Big Sean struts in as "The Priest," delivering ad-libs like "swerve swerve" while hovering over a collection of candles.
"Right There" follows Grande's Top 10 hit "The Way" as well as "Baby I," which peaked at No. 21 on the Hot 100 chart. The singer will cap off her breakout year by performing on the Jingle Ball tour, which kicks off on Dec. 2 with artists like Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke and Selena Gomez in tow.
Grande recently stopped by Billboard to take fans' Twitter questions on "Yours Truly," the possibility of a Justin Bieber collaboration and recording more Spanish-language songs. Watch below:
