"'Like It' relates to anyone who has been burned in a relationship," the singer tells Billboard.

TV personality turned rising pop talent Kimberly Cole will officially launch a pair of singles, "Like It" and "Found Better," next Tuesday (Oct. 29) as part of her upcoming debut EP "The Prelude." However, fans can check out the kinetic "Like It" a few days early, thanks to this exclusive Billboard.com premiere:

Produced by Young Yonny, "Like It" finds Cole winding her voice around a collection of melting synthesizers and metallic beats. For an MTV host who first made noise with her 2010 album "Bad Girls Club," "Like It" (along with the upcoming "Found Better") is a confident first step in launching her next project.

Taylor, Christina, Demi: Whose New Soundtrack Song Is Best?

"'Like It' relates to anyone who has been burned in a relationship," says Cole, who wrote the song as an emotional release for those wounded by a breakup. "Who doesn't want to know that the person who hurt you is full of regret, and you are better in every way than the new person they are with?"

Catch "Like It" and "Found Better" upon their digital release next week, and keep your eyes peeled for "The Prelude" EP. Does "Like It" sufficiently entrance? Sound off in the comments.
