"Heartbreaker" will be the first new song that Beliebers get to hear.
Justin Bieber is back, and will apparently release a new song each week, for 10 straight weeks. Remember Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Fridays in 2010? Well, strap in for the Biebs' Music Mondays.
On Thursday (Oct. 3), Bieber announced his impending "Music Mondays" series, which will begin this Sunday (Oct. 6) at midnight. The first song to be released will be the single "Heartbreaker," which Bieber has been regularly teasing since early June.
"Are you ready?" Bieber posted to Twitter, while manager Scooter Braun added, "Expect the unexpected." Last month, Braun revealed on Twitter that Bieber would be delivering new music "in October until December," which coincides perfectly with the 10-week release plan. There is also a "special movie on Christmas," although details on that project have yet to be unveiled.
Earlier this year, Bieber scored his fifth No. 1 album of the Billboard 200 when his "Believe Acoustic" set debuted in the top spot of the chart. Bieber is currently in China on his international Believe tour, which wraps in December.
