"She was shocked, so I'm a bit nervous," says the U.K. pop singer on the red carpet at the iHeartRadio Village.
Cher Lloyd is returning with a new album this fall, a follow-up to last year's "Sticks + Stones" that the 20-year-old has described as a more grown-up affair. After performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival Village on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 21), Lloyd spoke to Billboard about a new song, "Dirty Love," that she has unveiled live and which represents some of the adult themes on her next LP, due out on Epic in November.
"Basically, I talk about the fact that the guy is not giving me exactly what I want -- and when people listen to it, they'll understand exactly what I mean," Lloyd says of "Dirty Love." "It's a touchy one, because, I played it to my mom and … she was shocked. So I'm a bit nervous."
