Over the past month, three female pop superstars have unleashed new tracks to precede their highly anticipated fall albums. The latest offerings from Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears and Katy Perry have our heads spinning; but which song will be included in every playlist you create to the end of 2013 and beyond?
Vote now in the poll below to tell us which pop song -- "Wrecking Ball," "Work Bitch" or "Dark Horse" -- is the cream of the new-release crop.
As the second single from her upcoming "Bangerz" album, Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" follows the undeniably twerk-friendly "We Can't Stop" with pure, unbridled emotion. Pop fans are certainly responding to the ballad's provocative music video (which steamrolled past the VEVO record that "We Can't Stop" once held) as well as the affecting song itself, which has a good shot of topping this week's Hot 100 chart.
Meanwhile, "Work Bitch" finds Britney returning to the club with her ferocity -- and British accent -- intact. The relentless single leads Spears' eighth studio album (due out Dec. 3) as well as the pop icon's "Piece of Me" Las Vegas residency, kicking off on Dec. 27.
And don't forget about Katy Perry: the singer's "Dark Horse," featuring the ever-reliable Juicy J, may be a non-single, but that doesn't mean it isn't an absolute standout from her new album "Prism." The grimy hip-hop concoction serves as a powerful change-up from "Roar," her latest single, which has topped the Hot 100 chart for two straight weeks.
