Just as the world can't stop playing "We Can't Stop," Miley Cyrus can't stop revealing "Bangerz" details on Twitter. The pop superstar's fourth studio album and RCA Records debut at long last has an official release date, and that release date is Oct. 8.
Last Tuesday (Aug. 6), Cyrus unveiled her album title on Twitter after reaching 13 million followers on the social platform. "If you don't know why my record is called BANGERZ you'll know as soon as you hear it," she posted. "Nothin but #BANGERZ."
The upcoming album does not yet have an official track list, but will include collaborations with Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, Future and Pharrell Williams, among many others. "We Can't Stop," the lead single from "Bangerz," remains at No. 2 on this week's Hot 100 chart.
For those planning their pop album purchases for the fall, "Bangerz" will be released one week after the second half of Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience," two weeks before Katy Perry's "Prism" and five weeks before Lady Gaga's "ARTPOP."
