Take a look behind the creation of the U.K. pop talent's wild music video.
Last June, Natalia Kills previewed her sophomore album "Trouble" with a darkly lit, fantastically stylish music video for the new track "Problem." As the album's Sept. 3 release date approaches, the British pop singer has given fans a glimpse behind the creation of the salacious clip with a behind-the-scenes video, premiering exclusively on Billboard.com:
Filmed in Los Angeles earlier this year, the "Problem" video is full of making out, cop cars, and making out in the back of cop cars. Natalia Kills tells Billboard that she's glad that the behind-the-scenes clip of the video is seeing the light of day: "There's a lot of extra kissing in it that didn't make it into the video, and a bit more car-smashing," she says with a laugh.
Kills' follow-up to her debut album "Perfectionist" will be released through Will.i.am/Cherrytree/Interscope Records, and features production from Jeff Bhasker and Emile Haynie. Recorded in New York and Los Angeles, "Trouble" is a deeply fun yet purposely harrowing glimpse into the whirlwind life of the 26-year-old singer-songwriter.
"The album is like a collage of all of the worst memories and worst mistakes I've ever made," she says, pointing to the album artwork, which features handcuffs, champagne bottles and more police cars. "I wanted the cover to be a real collage of all of the items and articles and moments that I talk about in the album."
