Listen to the title track of the group's new album before its official release next week.
Pop-rock quintet Parachute will release its eagerly anticipated third studio album, "Overnight," on Aug. 13, the same day the group kicks off a month-long summer headlining tour. Start your week off right by soaking in the "Overnight" title track, premiering exclusively on Billboard.com:
Parachute has previewed "Overnight" with the rollicking lead single "Can't Help," which was co-written by OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder. The song "Overnight" is similarly engaging, with a pounding kick drum capturing the desperation of Will Anderson's declaration, "I can't get over you overnight."
"'Overnight' is one of our favorite songs on the album," says Anderson. "We feel it captures the essence of the whole record in one song, and enough so to make us name the whole album after it. It was easy to write, a lot of fun to record and we hope you enjoy it."
After Parachute releases the follow-up to 2011's "The Way It Was" next week, the group will bring its hits -- including the breakout single "She Is Love" and fan favorite "Under Control" -- across the country, kicking off a live run on Aug. 13 in New York.
