Jason Derulo Announces 'Tattoos' Album, Releases 'Talk Dirty' Track with 2 Chainz
Jason Derulo has announced that "Tattoos," his third studio album, will be released on Sept. 24 through Warner Bros. Records, and has also debuted the new 2 Chainz-assisted track "Talk Dirty."
Unlike his latest hit "The Other Side," the new song finds the pop singer taking risks with a horn-based hook that leans into his R&B influences. "It's just a shocking song," Derulo says of "Talk Dirty" in a press statement. "People will be thinking 'Hmm, really?!' It's very out there, but it was so fun."
"The Other Side," Derulo's lead single from the upcoming album, currently sits at No. 20 on the Hot 100 chart. While that song's choreography-heavy music video debuted in May, a video for "Talk Dirty" is slated to debut in early August.
The Miami singer's previous album, 2011's "Future History" has sold 74,000 copies to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Derulo recently appeared on "Chelsea Lately" and "Good Morning America" to promote the upcoming full-length.
