As Ariana Grande's debut single "The Way" continues to grace the upper reaches of the Hot 100, the Nickelodeon star has teased a new single, "Baby I," as well as announced her first-ever tour, dubbed the Listening Sessions.
On Tuesday (July 16), Grande previewed a grand total of "Baby I," which features another snap-worthy R&B beat and the 20-year-old singing, "Baby I got love for thee, so deep inside of me I don't know where to start." Grande has informed her 7.5 million Twitter followers that the single will be released next Monday (July 22).
Meanwhile, the Listening Sessions tour will kick off on August 13 in Silver Spring, Maryland, and stop by a total of nine cities before the end of August. Tickets for the shows will go on sale this Friday.
"It's called Listening Sessions because we're playing only a few intimate venues & you'll get to hear the music live before the album is out," Grande posted on Twitter. "Don't worry, down the road we'll be playing more places. This is just the start, the 1st branch is just about introducing u to the music. :)"
"Daydreamin,'" Grande's debut album, is due out at the end of the summer, while "The Way" (featuring Mac Miller) clocked in at No. 12 on last week's Hot 100 chart. On Wednesday, Grande will reveal the official "Baby I" single artwork in anticipation of its release.
