Pop-rap duo Karmin has released a music video for "Acapella" that matches its latest single quirk for quirk.
The YouTube sensations-turned-Top 40 mavericks keep things fairly simple for their latest music clip, which features Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan in a variety of minimally decorated rooms, sometimes accompanied by a posse of backup dancers.
Choice lines from the track are literally illustrated in the music video as well; when Heidemann laments, "Thought he was gluten-free, but all that I got was bread" the visual of a loaf of bread falling from the sky and landing on a blue countertop pops up!
"Acapella," which hit digital retailers in late June, is the first single off of Karmin's forthcoming full-length album, which will be released on Epic Records in late summer. The duo previously scored a hit with "Brokenhearted," which peaked at No. 16 on the Hot 100 after being released on the duo's "Hello" EP.
