Everyone pop fan in the world knows Lady Gaga's "Alejandro," but no one has ever heard it quite like this. In this week's Mashup Monday, Massachusetts rockers Dom employ falsetto, accordion and tambourine to perform Gaga's megahit in their own way.

Dom's eponymously named frontman says the band's decision to cover Lady Gaga's song, which rose to No. 5 on the Hot 100 last year, was a simple one. "We decided to do 'Alejandro' because it rips" Dom says admiringly, adding that using the accordion came naturally. "I listened to [the song] and thought, 'This would sound really good with accordion."
While Gaga, of course, has become superstar in recent years, Dom, the band, is building up its budding fanbase by re-releasing debut EP "Sun Bronzed Greek Gods" this February and embarking on its first headlining tour, which began last month.
