Superfan First Concert Contest: Extended to 7/8!

They're visibly wet but they're still rocking the barricade for Asher Roth at Lollapalooza. August 7, 2009.

SUPERFAN FIRST CONCERT CONTEST HEADER

Mashup Mondays are all about musical contradictions: great musicians playing a different kind of song. Many fans have their own musical contraction: a favorite artist who they've never managed to see in concert. Billboard.com and Starburst are looking to send one lucky listener off to see their favorite artist perform live. All you have to do for your chance to win is tell us what artist you're dying to see for the first time and explain why you would like to see that artist perform live.

UPDATE: By popular demand, the contest entry period has now been extended to July 8, 2011. So you still have time to enter, but hurry!

If your explanation is the most compelling, you'll win.:

• Two tickets to the artist's show near your hometown.
• A $100 gift card for snacks/merchandise

One entry per person please.
