In honor of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebrations Nov. 1-2, Juan Gabriel was remembered by his family with a special altar they shared with his fans on social media.

"Dad, we love you and miss you," reads the post on Twitter. The late singer's altar or ofrenda (offering) includes a pair of cowboy boots, a mariachi sombrero, candles, flowers and photos of Gabriel.

Oct. 28 marked the two-month anniversary of the "Noa Noa" singer's death; he died of a heart attack at 66 years old in Santa Monica, California.

"Always on my mind. Always close to our hearts," reads a post remembering the late singer on social media.
