The latest lovers of the border-crossing, evergreen and acoustic romantic ballad style are the members of new Brooklyn-based group Miramar, founded by Puerto Rican singer Reinaldo Alvarez.

Through decades of social evolution and technological innovation in Latin music, the bolero has never gone out of style. But really, how could it ever?

The latest lovers of the border-crossing, evergreen, and acoustic romantic ballad style are the members of new Brooklyn-based group Miramar, founded by Puerto Rican singer Reinaldo Alvarez.

The group’s upcoming debut album on Barbes Records is called Dedication to Sylvia Rexach (June 17); it's a tribute to the Puerto Rican songwriter and singer who formed the first all-female musical trio on the island in the 1940s. Rexach, who would become a bohemian icon in Puerto Rico, died in 1961 at age 39.

Miramar performs a tribute to her legacy on a song destined for singing along to. To hear what we mean, watch Miramar’s dreamy video for En Mis Sueños below, exclusively on Billboard.
