The Latin Grammy Acoustic Sessions, a series of invitation-only shows by well known Latin artists, will take place in five cities leading up to the Nov. 21 Latin Grammys.

On the night of Sept. 25, after Latin Grammy nominations are announced that morning, rock singer-songwriter Draco Rosa, a two-time Latin Grammy winner, will perform at the Hollywood club Avalon. Colombian singer Fonseca, also a previous Latin Grammy winner, will play a session in New York on Oct. 3.

Popular Regional Mexican band Voz de Mando will offer an acoustic performance Oct. 17 in Chicago, and salsa star Victor Manuelle appears Oct. 24 in Dallas.  The series wraps up with an acoustic set by crossover icon Ruben Blades in Miami, with pianist Arthur Hanlon as special guest.

"This intimate concert series gives music lovers the opportunity to experience some of today's talented artists in a small, up-close and personal setting," Gabriel Abaroa Jr., president/CEO of The Latin Recording Academy, said in a statement.

The Latin Grammy Acoustic Sessions are produced by Eventus and are now on their third year.

"The unprecedented success of our first two years has made us strive even more in presenting talent that would give our guests truly memorable evenings of great music," said Nelson Albareda, president and CEO of Eventus.  "We are committed to maintaining the quality and essence of this unique series in years to come."

The Latin Grammy Acoustic series are presented by 7UP and The Lincoln Motor Company with Kellog’s and McDonald’s as official sponsors.

The 14th Annual Latin Grammy Awards will be broadcast live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on the Univision Network.
