A state-funded broadcaster in South Korea has banned PSY's chaotic new video for "Gentleman" because it depicts the abuse of public property. Seriously.
It has long been rumored that Will.i.am's anticipated "#willpower" album would feature K-pop act 2NE1 -- a move that would bring the growing genre closer to the West.
PSY is proving he's more than a one-hit wonder as the official music video for his newest release, "Gentleman," soared past 70 million YouTube views today (April 15), in only its third day of availability.
PSY made a major announcement last month when he revealed he’d release his new single at an April 13 concert in South Korea. The single was premiered a few days beforehand, but there were still many surprises at the live show.
"Gentleman," PSY's long-awaited follow-up to the smash hit "Gangnam Style," has finally hit the internet. The up-tempo dance track is scheduled to be released on iTunes on Friday, April 12 at midnight.
