The boy band's new single debuts in the top 5 of World Digital Songs too.

CL isn't the only Korean act that had U.S. fans engaged this week. VIXX notch another week on Billboard's Social 50 chart, jumping from No. 46 to No. 34 thanks to continuing buzz for their new single "Fantasy" and Hades EP.

The Social 50 is powered by data tracked by music analytics company Next Big Sound and ranks the most popular artists on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, SoundCloud, Wikipedia, Instagram, Tumblr and Vine. The chart's methodology blends weekly additions of friends/fans/followers along with artist page views and engagement.

Released on Aug. 12, "Fantasy" is in line with the boy band's dark-tinged releases past ("Eternity," "Error," "Voodoo Doll"), but is a creative upgrade with a harder emotional punch and demanding vocal performance over a cinematic production. The accompanying music video also plays to the band's shadowy sentiments with muted-colored clothing and imagery of thorns and spikes.

Overall, this week marks VIXX's 15th week on the chart, indicating continuing strong engagement with U.S. fans. The sextet first debuted on the chart almost exactly a year ago when the promotions for their sub-unit, VIXX LR, saw them soar to No. 16 on the chart dated Aug. 29.

"Fantasy" also bows on Billboard's World Digital Songs chart at No. 5, marking the highest debut of the week. Remarkably, it's VIXX's 10th entry in the Top 10 further indicating their stateside popularity. Hades track "Love Me Do" debuts at No. 16 on the chart too.

Following their April's "Dynamite" single and Zelos EP, Hades is the second of three EPs in VIXX's ambitious 2016 release schedule. The third and final release is expected before the end of the year.
