The rapper recruits Bumkey for an ode to love making and role playing that's reminiscent to Ginuwine's "Pony"
The success of San E's K-Pop Hot 100 No. 1 hit "Break Up Dinner" anointed the 29-year-old rapper as one of the K-pop's most promising rap prospects, bringing enormous interest to his subsequent releases. After shaking up the charts past June with breezy love jam "A Midsummer Night's Sweetness," a No. 2-peaking single, featuring After School's lead vocalist Raina, he takes a complete 360 with the raunchy sex anthem, aptly-titled, "Body Language" via Brand New Music.
Upon the Aug. 4 release, the track is already edging out huge K-pop stars like SISTAR and HyunA on Korea's real-time charts.
For his latest output, San E links up with his labelmate Bumkey, where the two talk about making love and roleplaying in the bedroom. The 29-year-old spits sexy lines like, "I’m a stallion / Get on top and ride me / Bouncing up and down / You want me to run? / I'll take it out / Whip me baby, If you wanna go (faster)" over a slick R&B/hip-hop production reminiscent of Ginuwine's "Pony."
San E Playlist
San E flaunts his immaculate rhyming, enunciating every single lyric precisely, while Bumkey smooths out San E's hardness on the chorus with his buttery vocals crooning, "I'll give it to you, girl / I'll show you my sincerity."
"Body Language" was written by the artist himself and co-composed by Brand New Music's in-house producer, Master Key and Lish. The steamy music video, where San E watches different sexual innuendos and fantasies via video games, has racked up about 325,000 views.
Amazingly, the debauchery was ruled too explicit in South Korea and it received an R rating.
San E had originally honed his chops at JYP Entertainment (home to miss A, 2PM and Wonder Girls) for years, but left his major-label backing in 2013. With "A Midsummer Night's Sweetness" still ranking high on the charts, the rapper has proven how successfully he's owning the mainstream with a No. 1 under his belt and ranking high with his latest 2014 releases.
