Last year's festival brought out Missy Elliot, G-Dragon, EXO, Crayon Pop and other Korean stars
America's annual K-pop convention KCON announced it will return to Los Angeles for another two-day festival. The announcement came today via the convention's official trailer:
As noted in the clip, the fest promises content related to all things part of the "Korean wave" including K-pop music plus Korean television, food, dance, games, film, style and more. The convention again runs through a weekend after growing to two days in its second run last year and filming a K-pop music chart TV show on location.
The trailer also promises "infinite idols" following last year's impressive lineup of K-pop stars G-Dragon, EXO, Crayon Pop, Teen Top, f(x), 2AM and Dynamic Duo who not only performed for fans, but also held autograph and meet-and-greet sessions with fans. Missy Elliott also joined the festival to perform a collaboration with G-Dragon and a slew of her own hits.
No information about performers, ticket prices or location are available yet. Stay tuned to Billboard's K-Town for further updates. KCON 2014 runs Aug. 9-10 in downtown Los Angeles.
