The K-pop superstar will hold a solo U.S. show this November.
Taeyang -- a vocalist and rapper in K-pop boy band BIGBANG -- will hold a solo concert stateside on Nov. 26 as part of MTV Iggy and Intel's 'Music Experiment 2.0' series. The San Francisco show, to be held at a secret location, follows previous 'Music Experiment' events held by Empire of the Sun in New York and Disclosure in Boston.
'The Music Experiment 2.0' is a social media-powered series that connects fans with their artists via an online hub. Creative fans engaging with the series on Facebook, Instagram, Vine and Twitter can win VIP tickets to the show, a meet-and-greet and other MTV-sponsored prizes.
But fans better act fast: the social media challenges end Friday, Oct. 4.
While it has not been confirmed, Taeyang is rumored to make his K-pop comeback in October. Label YG Entertainment had initially announced September for his second full-length album. But with an exciting overseas opportunity like this, it would make sense to see Taeyang prepared with new material to promote.
