The K-pop superstar breaks away from his bandmembers with what appears to be one sexy solo single
Seungri -- a vocalist in beloved K-pop boy band BIGBANG -- is making a sexy statement with his new solo single "Let's Talk About Love." To drive up hype for the Aug. 19 release, the band member has unveiled a hyper-sexual video teaser that already has a 19+ discretion rating (the equivalent of a "Rated R" rating in America).
Provocative shots pepper the 22-second clip including a man (presumably Seungri) touching a woman's inner leg and a shot of her pulling down her underwear. It's hot stuff for the K-pop market that typically aims for cute (see K-Pop Hot 100 No. 1 "Bar Bar Bar" by Crayon Pop) or sexy with a tasteful twist (like After School's "First Love"). Seungri looks to be going for full-on sex here.
Seungri last promoted as a soloist in January 2011 with his debut solo album "VVIP" led by two electro-pop singles "VVIP" and "What Can I Do" -- which U.S. fans got to see live if they caught one of the boys' four American stops on their 2012-2013 world tour.
August is proving to be twice as nice for BIGBANG fans. Not only will Seungri be promoting new material, but so will BIGBANG's leader G-Dragon with a solo album that will feature Missy Elliot. G-Dragon will perform in Los Angeles at KCON 2013 next weekend.
