Is Future Releasing a Third Album This Week?
After landing his fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with his self-titled set and releasing his second LP in two weeks with HNDRXX, news that Future could be releasing a third consecutive album has surfaced.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show revealed that Future would be appearing on the show on Thursday (March 2), with the episode description claiming that the Atlanta rapper "is attempting to have three #1 albums in a row in three weeks – which will make him the first in history to do that!"
While HNDRXX is projected to claim the top spot on the Billboard 200 this week, Future would be facing serious competition in securing three back-to-back-to-back No. 1's as Ed Sheeran's ÷ album (pronounced "Divide") will be released this Friday (March 3).
However, Future's manager, Anthony Saleh, called the report "FALSE" in response to a tweet from The Fader.
FALSE "@thefader: Future is releasing another album this week, according to The Ellen Show. https://t.co/wKpVhAtIMz pic.twitter.com/tk8ilCXHUo"

A second -- and perhaps third -- No. 1 would make Future the first artist to debut at the peak of the chart in successive weeks.
Billboard has reached out to Future's rep for comment.
