"Do you wanna be great or do you wanna be good?," says Alicia Keys in a new short titled "Passion" for the UEFA Champions League Final Opening Ceremony presented by Pepsi. "I ask myself all the time."

With Keys being named the first-ever musical headliner at the world's most watched annual sporting event, she draws comparisons between musicians and athletes in the three-part series. For the first installment, she defines what "passion" means to the tune of her new single "In Common."

"To me, passion is love plus desire," she offers in the clip." We have to be making something, we have to be working towards something, we have to be dreaming about something, we have to believing in something no matter who we are."

"What really drives my devotion to music is the uncovering of myself," she continues. "In order to be great, you have to be brave enough to be vulnerable, so honest, so truthful that you're just like, 'Here's everything I am. Everything -- I'm not leaving anything inside.'"

The new spot follows her recent stint on NBC's Saturday Night Live (May 7) where she performed the aforementioned Illangelo-produced jam as well as a new song titled "Hallelujah."

"That's what we say -- leave it all on the stage, leave it all on the field," Keys adds. "You gon' put it there or you're not gon' be great. That is something even I am still learning."
