Ruby Rose Is Done With Kanye West: 'Too Many Lines Crossed'
Orange Is the New Black actress Ruby Rose is among those not taking ‘Ye’s lyric lightly. Earlier today, she tweeted that in light of Kanye’s recent actions, she could no longer support him and consider herself a feminist at the same time.
Too many lines crossed. If I put myself in the shoes of the women he has hurt recently. Victims of Bill Cosby, The Slut shaming, Amber...— Ruby Rose (@RubyRose) February 12, 2016
And now my dear friend Taylor.. Right before another huge moment for her.. Can I still support him and call myself a feminist? A friend? No.— Ruby Rose (@RubyRose) February 12, 2016
The new Kanye album features the line, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous."
Rose is close with Swift, who is set to perform at the Grammys Monday night, where she is nominated for album of the year.
So far, Swift’s brother and Gigi Hadid have also criticized Kanye for the reference, which he defended in a recent Twitter spree. This is likely not the last we've heard of it.
