In Tuesday's Daily Noise, brought to you by Fuse and Billboard.com, Katy Perry's "California Gurls" has broken the record for most weekly radio plays in the history of the Billboard Pop Songs airplay chart, logging just under 12,000 spins last week. Perry also told a Canadian radio station that she recruited Snoop Dogg for the track to create a West Coast feel similar to Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' "Empire State of Mind".
