Slow news day today: Tenacious D replacing the Beastie Boys at Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival and a look at a radio station in Denver that is billing itself as "Stripper Radio" - it's called "The Pole" and it has the tagline of "Our Hits Are Bigger." Seems pretty certain it's a marketing stunt and that the station will switch to a more standard format in the coming days or weeks. But with a playlist that includes Motley Crue, Warrant, T-Pain, Buckcherry and others, it's a pretty rockin' stunt.
Jack Black from D told Billboard that the band's Outside lands set "may shake the foundations of the...San Andreas (Fault) and California may be shaken loose from the rest of the country. I wouldn't doubt it.
