The Beatles' Busy Week, Jay-Z Releases "Blueprint 3"

The Beatles

In this Tuesday edition of the Daily Noise, brought to you by Fuse and Billboard, the Beatles' remastered studio albums are released and Jay-Z's "Blueprint 3" comes out early.

The music world is talking about the Beatles this week. In a flurry of Fab Four activity on Wed, Sept. 9, 2009, remastered versions of the Beatles' studio albums along with two box sets --one in stereo and one in mono-- will go on sale. Meanwhile, the highly anticipated Beatles Rock Band video game will be released on the same day. The game features 45 songs from the Beatles' catalog -- more songs from one act than any music game has previously featured. Finally, with Apple announcing a music-related press conference the same day, some are speculating that the Beatles music may finally see life on iTunes.

Jay-Z's "Blueprint 3" hits stores today, moved up from its originally planned release date of this Friday, Sept. 11, the eighth anniversary of the first "Blueprint" release. Jay-Z will headline a concert on Friday, Sept. 11, at Madison Square Garden, with all proceeds going to "Answer The Call," New York Police and Fire Widows and Children's Benefit fund.
