Pearl Jam Tops Album Chart, Chris Brown Steps Out

In this edition of the Daily Noise, brought to you by Fuse and Billboard.com, Pearl Jam takes the top spot on the Billboard 200 as predicted with their album "Backspacer". It's the band's first No. 1 in 13 years, and sold just under 200,000 copies in its first week.

Chris Brown seems to be making something of a comeback after his guilty plea in connection with assaulting Rihanna in February, announcing a headlining concert and releasing new single "I Can Transform Ya". Vampire Weekend gears up to release "Contra" on Jan. 12, which the band calls a logical next step from their debut.
