The Great Smoky Mountains Association plans to release a new collection, On Top of Old Smoky: New Old-Time Smoky Mountain Music, on August 21. Tucked away toward the end of the release is a sharp, compact version of "Little Rosewood Casket" by Dolly Parton.

It's been a busy year for the country legend. This week, she embarks on her longest tour in more than two decades, and she also plans to release an album of new material this summer.

This is not the first time Parton has tackled "Little Rosewood Casket." Back in 1987, she teamed up with Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris to cover the song. That version appeared on the album Trio, which won a pair of Grammys.
