With their debut album Sirens set to drop this week, U.K. house duo Gorgon City decided to lend their talents to one of Drake's more underappreciated tunes.

Reinterpreted through Gorgon City's smooth and soulful studio lens, "Doing It Wrong" takes on new life with a bumping bass line and dramatic chord hits beneath chugging percussion. While she may not have tried her hand at the original's classic Stevie Wonder harmonica solo, London singer LIV turns in an emotional vocal performance that perfectly suits the farewell song's melancholic tone.

Check out the premiere of Gorgon City's "Doing it Wrong" cover exclusively on Billboard:

"We are huge fans of the Drake album, so couldn't resist covering 'Doing It Wrong' and giving it a U.K. garage flavour," says Gorgon City. "We enjoyed playing it live so much that we decided to add this studio version to the deluxe track list of our album Sirens."

The cover is a good preview of what's in store for fans of the Black Butter Records signees, who rose to prominence with strong vocal songs like "Intentions." In keeping with precedent, Sirens is a 17-track outing that features no shortage of talented singers, including featured appearances by Jennifer Hudson, Katy B and Erik Hassle.

Gorgon City's debut full-length album Sirens will be available Oct. 7 through Capitol Records.
