Ariana Grande's new album My Everything has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, giving the 21-year-old pop singer two No. 1 albums in less than a year. She's the first woman to debut at No. 1 with her first two albums since 2010.
The revered English singer has two albums in the top 10 (The Whole Story at No. 6, Hounds of Love at No. 9), and a further six spread out in the top 40. All up, she has a staggering 11 albums in the top 50.
The first Rodriguez album Cold Fact from 1969 is currently at No. 11, outpacing its previous chart peak of No. 23. Also on this week’s chart, the Searching for Sugar Man soundtrack is at No. 22 and his second and final studio album Coming From Reality (1971) is at No. 25.
On the latest Billboard 200 albums chart, Wiz Khalifa's Blacc Hollywood arrived at No. 1, giving the hip-hop star his first chart leader after two previous No. 2-peaking sets. Blacc Hollywood sold 90,000 copies in its first week (ending Aug. 24), according to Nielsen SoundScan. It was well ahead of the No. 2 title, the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack, which fell from the top slot.
