Beyoncé's new "Formation" single zoomed straight to No. 1 on the real-time Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart shortly after its release on Feb. 6.

The Trending 140 chart measures the acceleration of conversation around artists and their music, while the Emerging Artists chart measures the volume of tweets around new artists and their songs.

Beyoncé's surprise single -- and its accompanying video -- arrived one day before she's scheduled to take the stage alongside Coldplay during the Super Bowl 50 halftime show.

"Formation" is currently only available through Tidal as both a free download and a stream. The song's music video (both in an explicit and clean version) is unlisted on her YouTube channel, but readily viewable on Tidal. A range of merchandise associated with "Formation" has also been released, through Beyonce's official website.
