Jamie xx Marks the No. 1 Spot on Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart

Jamie xx (real name Jamie Smith) jumps in at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart (dated June 20) with the retro-themed In Colour. The solo debut from the member of The xx sold 19,000 copies in the week ending June 7, according to Nielsen Music.

The set tops Major Lazer’s latest, Peace Is the Mission, which opens at No. 2 (16,000). Still, Major Lazer charts seven tracks on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs from Peace, leading with "Lean On," with DJ Snake and featuring MO, which holds at its No. 4 peak. The track takes top Digital and Streaming Gainer honors with 58,000 downloads sold (up 18 percent) sold and 6.6 million U.S. streams (up 16 percent). On the Billboard Hot 100, "Lean" lifts 24-22.

Major Lazer also lights up Hot Dance/Electronic Songs with six other tracks, including "Powerful," featuring Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Ri (No. 21); "All My Love (Remix)," featuring Ariana Grande and Machel Montano (No. 29); "Be Together," featuring Wild Belle (No. 30); and "Too Original," featuring Elliphant & Jovi Rockwell (No. 38).

Shifting to Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs, Avicii collects his fifth top 10 with "Waiting for Love" (13-8; 1.9 million streams, up 13 percent). Avicii ties Calvin Harris for the most top 10s since the chart’s April 20, 2013 launch (five each).

On Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Armin van Buuren accelerates into the top 10 with "Another You," featuring Mr. Probz (15-10). It’s the fifth top 10 for van Buuren and the first for Mr. Probz since he broke through with his two-week No. 1 hit "Waves" last year.
