Lana Del Rey's "Shades of Cool" shot to No.1 on the Trending 140 chart after the accompanying music video – reminiscent of an "opening title of a James Bond movie"  – garnered 800,000 views within the first 24-hours. Maroon 5's new single, "Maps," climbed to No. 1 when released at midnight on June 16. Due to the collective's social media campaign leading up to the release, the song took the No. 4 spot two hours before its debut.

The Juice Podcast: Ab-Soul Talks 'These Days' Delays, Plus Ratking Interview

Ab-Soul's "These Days" single, "World Runners" – featuring Lupe Fiasco and Nikki Jean – went to No. 4 on the Trending 140.

The Trending 140 chart measures the acceleration of conversation around artists and their music, while the Emerging Artists chart measures the volume of tweets around new artists and their songs.
