Pharrell Williams' 'Happy' becomes the 28th leader to reign for at least 10 weeks

As reported yesterday, Pharrell Williams' "Happy" tallies a 10th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song is just the 28th in the chart's 55-year history to hit double-digit weeks at No. 1, a feat that just 3 percent of the 1,034 all-time leaders have accomplished.

And, thanks to "Happy" and his featured turn on Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," which reigned for 12 weeks last year, Williams joins the Black Eyed Peas, Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey and Santana as the only acts to have led the Hot 100 for at least 10 weeks with more than one song each. (Honorable mentions to Kelly Rowland and Beyonce. Each ruled for 11 weeks with "Independent Women Part 1" in 2000-01 as part of Destiny's Child, while Rowland assisted on Nelly's 2002 10-week topper "Dilemma" and Beyonce spent 10 weeks at the summit as a soloist in 2006-07 with "Irreplaceable.")

In honor of Williams' latest achievement – "Happy" has already become the first song to top as many as six (currently produced) single-format airplay charts – here's an updated look at all the titles to top the Hot 100 for 10 weeks or more.
