Sure, we could rank Barenaked Ladies' top five songs. But ... why not go right to the source - the group members themselves - and ask them to pick their faves? We did. Hear what they chose.

At Billboard, we like to think we know a little bit (and hopefully a lot more) about how to create a songs chart.

But, artists themselves have a unique insight into which songs of theirs deserve the highest praise. With that in mind, Chart Beat's series of artists making their own charts continues. (We recently asked Go-Go's diva Belinda Carlisle to rank her favorite songs of hers here).

Check out the video above, as Barenaked Ladies - (left to right) Kevin Hearn, Ed "Casey Kasem" Robertson, Tyler Stewart and Jim Creeggan - count down their five favorite BNL songs from a catalog that, as of this year, spans 25 years since their formation. The fun foursome stopped by Billboard's New York studios last week to discuss, among other offbeat topics ventured into, its new album, "Grinning Streak." The set debuts at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 this week, marking the group's first top 10 on the chart in 10 years.

And, stay tuned for more video highlights of Barenaked Ladies' visit to be posted next week, including performances of "Boomerang" and "Odds Are" from the new set.

But first, on with the countdown ...
