WHAT SONGS SHOULD'VE BEEN SINGLES?

Dear Gary,

As always, I enjoy your column tremendously. In response to your query about album tracks that should've been singles, I have several. Here are a few that I feel deserved note:

I applaud and second all your Madonna choices from the last "Ask Billboard." Staying on that track:

"The Look of Love," from the "Who's That Girl" soundtrack. A Europe-only single, this ballad fits nicely into the "Live to Tell" and "Crazy for You" mold of Madonna's slower '80s hits.

"Don't Stop," from "Bedtime Story." This club-ready track has an effortless groove and a pop hook that would have landed much better on top 40 than "Human Nature" or "Bedtime Story."
