Longtime film and TV licensing executive Debra Delshad has joined independent publisher Angry Mob Music to head its synchronization and licensing department.
Most recently senior director of synchronization and licensing at ole media, Delshad will be responsible for placing and licensing Angry Mob Music titles and will advise the A&R and creative departments on acquisitions and new writers.
Delshad, formerly of Dreamworks and EMI, has been in the film, TV and new media field for more than 10 years. She has a law degree from Loyola Marymount. Her work at ole included striking commercial deals for Pepsi, Target, Samsung and Bud Light Platinum.
CEO Marc Caruso and COO Sean Harrison founded the Santa Monica-based publisher and master rights administrator company in 2009. Harrison said in a statement, "Debra will play a significant role in moving our company forward as we take this very exciting next step in Angry Mob's evolution.”
