'American Idol' alum also releases previews of 2 new songs on Facebook.
It seems things are looking up for American Idol alum Josh Gracin.
Two weeks ago, Gracin left what appeared to be a suicide note on his Facebook page, and subsequently Gracin's manager tweeted, "Josh is safe and with his family now. I promise to update soon."
Now, it appears to be buisness as usual for the country singer. Gracin had updated his Facebook with this: "Finally getting back out on the road. I will be playing this Saturday at the Mercury Ballroom in Louisville KY! Please get your tickets now! I would love to see you all there for my first show back:)"
He then posted two videos from his recent writing sessions, including a song called "Let Her Go." Fans can check out the videos on his official Facebook page.
Grobin, a charismatic Marine, was a fan favorite on the second season of American Idol, finishing in fourth place. His self-titled debut album, released in 2004, hit No. 11 on the Billboard 200. He subsequently dropped 2008's We Weren't Crazy and 2011's Redemption.
