Singer gets condolences during 'Good Morning America' appearance

Early Wednesday, Ariana Grande announced on Twitter that her grandfather, Frank, had died.

The pop star stuck to her busy schedule, appearing on "Good Morning America" just after sharing the news. Grande was on "GMA" to announce her iHeartRadio Music Festival gig alongside Ryan Seacrest, and host Robin Roberts ended the interview by offering her condolences. While she reportedly tweeted that the family decided to keep the news from her older brother, Frankie Grande, while he competes as a contestant on "Big Brother," that tweet has since been deleted. Grande has posted plenty of other tweets, though, from the initial announcement to family photos:
