Rap fans will have to hold their breath a little longer as Joey Bada$$ pushes back the release date for "Summer Knights" to July 1.

The Brooklyn rapper took to Twitter to announce the delay and say that the upcoming posthumous Capital Steez project will no longer be a free release. "I'm just trynna make this the best possible outcome for everyone," he continued to tweet.

Despite the pause in production, Joey Bada$$ isn't leaving his fans empty-handed. Yesterday (June 12), he released the track, "95 Til Infinity." Produced by Lee Bannon, the song is the second cut off "Summer Knights."

Currently touring in Canada, Joey Bada$$ will make his way through the U.S. later this summer with Wiz Khalifa and Pro Era after performing a series of shows in Europe.
