Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 - Roy Clark

(1997)
AMG Review

Roy Clark had his first brace of hits for the Capitol label in the mid- to late '60s. But his second batch came with a brace of hit singles and charting albums for the Dot label the following decade with charters on the small Churchill label into the 1980s. This 15-track compilation gives the rest of the story of Roy's country charting hits, including "The Great Divide," "Then She's a Lover," "I Have a Dream, I Have a Dream," "September Song" and "Do You Believe This Town." And Roy's famous guitar chops are well highlighted on "Wildwood Flower" and "Alabama Jubilee." ~ Cub Koda, All Music Guide
