Next week on the Billboard 200 albums chart, not only will the very top of the chart welcome handsome debuts from both Link Park's "A Thousand Suns" and Trey Songz's "Passion, Pain & Pleasure," but there may be up to six new entries in the top 10.
Industry prognosticators suggest that Linkin Park's new set, "A Thousand Suns," could sell as much as 250,000 to 260,000 by Sept. 19. Trey Songz is nipping at Linkin's heels as his new "Passion, Pain & Pleasure" album could be looking to move between 230,000 and 250,000.
Bruce Springsteen scores his eighth No. 1 album on The Billboard 200 with the "Magic" (Columbia), which moved 335,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It's his best sales sum since "The Rising" started with 525,000 at No. 1 five years ago.
