Portions of the concert are expected to be aired as Eminem's second and third appearances on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Tuesday and Friday.
Eminem is hard at work on his first studio album in three years. The Detroit MC called into New York radio station Hot 97 (WQHT-FM) today (Sept. 13) during a 50 Cent interview and spoke about his own endeavors. "For a while, I didn't want to go back to the studio ... I went through some personal things," he said.
Mobb Deep member Prodigy doesn't consider his upcoming "Return of the Mac" to be the true follow-up to his 2000 solo debut, "H.N.I.C." That's reserved for "H.N.I.C. 2," which is due out in late spring or early summer.
Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy debuts at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 with his second Def Jam album, "The Inspiration." The set sold 352,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, more than doubling the 172,000-unit first week for his 2005 debut, "Let's Get It: Thug Motivation."
