U2 will utilize the talents of a rotating trio of support acts on the upcoming third leg of its Elevation tour. Garbage will handle the chore from the tour's Oct. 12 opener in South Bend, Ind., through the Oct. 24 New York date; the Stereophonics support beginning Oct. 28 in East Rutherford, N.J., through Nov. 2 in Philadelphia; and No Doubt will bring up the rear, joining Nov. 5 in Austin, Texas, and hanging on through the Nov. 18 finale in Las Vegas.
